Oily patches are created when the skin becomes hyperactive leading to over-production of sebum, resulting in shiny and often blemish-prone areas.

Dry skin, on the other hand, is created where areas of the skin are thin and produce too little sebum, and the skin effectively stops moisturising itself.

Melissa Day Cream treats the oily areas by calming this over-production and targets moisture to the dryer areas. This cream combines extracts of Melissa, Daisy, Anthyllis, Witch Hazel and Carrot to soothe and balance the skin, with Tapioca starch to produce a matte finish. Balanced, radiant skin starts here.

Application: Apply Melissa Day Cream after cleansing and toning your face in the morning, apply a small amount evenly to face, neck and décolleté. This is a great primer before applying make-up. 

Tip: If you find you have frequent blemishes, Dr Hauschka recommends substituting Melissa Day Cream with a combination of Revitalising Day Lotion and 1 or 2 drops of Clarifying Day Oil to soothe and rebalance the skin.
